Christine Hornsby was born in North Yorkshire, England but spent her early childhood in the Far East and Buckinghamshire. She was educated in a convent.

Deciding on a career in teaching, Christine moved to South Yorkshire training at Scawsby College and then teaching English at a local Secondary school.

Still living in South Yorkshire Christine now spends her time swimming, perfecting her French, reading and, of course, writing novels.
